Houston?
OK, so why Houston?!  We definitely asked ourselves that same question.  We wanted very much to go back home to Ireland to begin Young Hope, but during this last year it became very clear that the Lord was guiding us to Houston (for now anyway)!
As is always the case, the Lord knew what He was doing in sending us here. In Dublin our youth group had a very close relationship with a youth group from Houston, we travellied back and forth between there and Dublin for mission events, camps etc so we have many relationships with both youth ministries and youth there in Houston.
Since arriving and taking that step of faith many things have fallen into place, not only practically with things like a place to live but we have been in contact with an incredible number of new and innovative minstries and mission organisations all of whom can begin to feed into and facilitate the development of  yo-ho.  Our contact with and love for Ireland remains strong and we also avail of our resources there adding to the creative, spiritual and infividual growth we are experiencing.
