One of my weeks in Brasil I spent in Maringa, a city in the south of Brasil. This is where we a few weeks before had TeenStreet, the youth conference. I went back there to work with the girls in a church. Before I came i didn't really know what it would be like, and for the first couple days I felt really overwhelmed and like I didn't have what was needed to do it. It was really hard at times, but it was also amazing. Cause when i realized that the pressure i felt wasn't from God, I was able to relax. he showed me that I could only do what i could do - and then He would do the rest. I could only be me.

That week I taught the girls a dance, and we did drama and had a sleepover and biblestudies. Even though most of them didn't speak English, we had so much fun together. So many laughs and so much craziness. And I know that God used me to impact their lives, and He used them to impact mine.
