Smith Wigglesworth On Healing

Smith Wigglesworth was a man that many theologians and biblical scholars today would call "Hardcore".
This book is cut and pasted together from a vast collection of Wiggles' messages which were originally presented as spoken rather than written word. Apparently he would often speak in tongues mid-sermon and then give the interpretation, many of these are also included.

The heart and challenge of this book is faith in Jesus to be who He says He is and act accordingly.
Wiggles' unflinchingly declares the promises and truths Jesus gives us in the scriptures and calls us to disregard anything contrary to these: emotions, opinions of others, experiences, etc.

He dared to take God at His word, to the letter, and had the faith and boldness to do so because of his intimate relationship with the " sweet and merciful Lord Jesus "

" The man who wants to work the works of God must never look at conditions but at Jesus in whom everything is complete "

Whether or not you agree with Smith's Baptism in the Holy Spirit theology, it is impossible to deny the fruit of the Holy Spirit in this man's life.
Not only signs and wonders but His Christlikeness : Humility, heart to honour God, love for others, etc.

God has used this book to draw me into the scriptures and called me to fill myself with the inbreathed Word of God which is the antibiotic to unbelief and a wellspring of Faith.

Above all, i love that the focus of this book is not the greatness of a man who has been called " The Apostle of Faith " but the loving, humble, almight Lord Jesus who sent Him.

Luke, 20, Ireland
