Being with young hope the past four weeks has been great...hanging out wuth the other people on the team and getting to help out with some amazing ministries. I've particularly loved gettin to chat and pray with loads of streetpeople at streetchurch and on friday nights when we walk the streets of Houston. I was surprised to find these people so open to talking with with me and some of them even asking me to pray with them. Since i've arrived here, Gods kept reminding of Isaiah 61 v 1 ... i've really had to cling to this verse and trust that God has called me and anointed me to bring Jesus to the poor and brokenhearted here in Houston and that God will use me to bring his light to these people loiving in darkness.
