Last Friday night we went to downtown Houston to the Montrose area to walk the streets and pray for people. Every Friday we start the night by gathering at a tree in  the area to worship God and pray.

That night I was feeling so heavy and sad about how much destruction  there is in those peoples lives. Then I began to pray for these people and started worshiping God. That night I really felt His presence in the Montrose area. As we worshiped I felt that Heaven and Earth were touching right there. It was amazing to be worshiping Jesus under the stars in such a broken place.

We got to speak to and pray for many people that night. God was moving in incredible ways. He had specific words for people. When my friend was praying for a man she had a picture of a jigsaw. She asked him if he had ever played with jigsaws when he was younger. He said that he used to buy jigsaws to play with so he wouldn't have to think about his mother's abuse. This was a painful time for him and he came back for more prayer later in the night. God used my friend to show this man that He knew about the jigsaws and cares deeply for him.
